PhilSA, BRIGHTSIDE INK SPACE TECH DEAL

The Philippines took a step toward a tech-savvy future on January 26, 2025, when PhilSA and Brightside International signed an MOU to harness space technology for better internet, sharper security, and stronger economic growth. The deal targets remote barrios and Visayas with high-speed internet, wireless services, broadcast TV, faster disaster warnings, and data to help farmers, tackling rural isolation and readiness gaps that could lift millions.
